Key Responsibilities:
• Research and identify potential funding opportunities from government agencies, foundations, corporations, and other donors that align with Share Vision Network’s mission and programs.
Write, edit, and submit compelling grant proposals, concept notes, and budgets in collaboration with program staff and leadership.
Coordinate and manage the entire grant application process, including timelines, submissions, and follow-ups.
Maintain a calendar of grant deadlines and ensure timely submission of proposals and reports.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with current and potential donors to cultivate funding opportunities.
Collaborate with program managers and finance staff to gather information and data necessary for proposals and reports.
Monitor and track grant funding trends, donor priorities, and changes in the funding landscape.
Ensure compliance with grant agreements and reporting requirements, including preparing narrative and financial reports.
Support the organization’s overall fundraising and development efforts as needed.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree/Diploma in Communications, International Relations, Nonprofit Management, or a related field.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in grant writing and grants management, preferably in the nonprofit sector.
Proven track record of successful grant applications and securing funding from diverse donors.
Strong understanding of donor requirements, proposal formats, and grant application processes.
Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and persuasively.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with grant management software is a plus.
