Key Duties & Responsibilities
Advanced proficiency in data science techniques including statistical modeling, machine learning, and data visualisation.
Hands-on experience with data platforms (preferably Azure Synapse) and BI tools (Power BI) in a modern Microsoft ecosystem.
Proven track record of developing end-to-end analytics solutions that include data extraction, transformation, model development, and deployment.
Strong understanding of consumer-packaged goods (CPG) dynamics and commercial operations, with an ability to relate analytical findings to real-world business impact.
Demonstrated ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights that drive revenue, efficiency, and growth.
Exceptional ability to present technical findings to non-technical stakeholders in clear, concise language.
Strong collaborative skills, with experience working in cross-functional teams and influencing decisions at senior levels.
Qualifications:
A Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field
A Master’s degree or equivalent experience is preferred
Certifications or demonstrable experience in advanced analytics platforms (e.g., Azure ML, Power BI Advanced Analytics) are an asset.
Experience:
A minimum of 8 – 10 years’ experience in data analytics, data science, or a related field, with significant exposure to commercial decision-making in a CPG environment.
Experience working in multi-country or regional organisations is a plus.
