Ikore is seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as a Growth and Partnership Manager. In this role, you will play a crucial part in our mission to drive sustainable development and create innovative solutions for the sector. We are looking for a dynamic individual who thrives on building and nurturing partnerships, identifying new growth opportunities, and driving business development initiatives to advance our impact. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Business Growth: Develop and execute strategies for sustainable business growth, focusing on business expansion, revenue generation, and increasing the reach of Ikore’s innovative solutions. 
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with public and private sector partners, donors, and stakeholders to advance Ikore’s mission and create landslide situations for all parties involved. 
  • Partnership Development: Identify and establish partnerships with key stakeholders in the ecosystem, including government bodies, private sector organizations, non-state actors, and international development agencies. 
  • Opportunity Identification: Continuously scan the market for new growth opportunities, emerging trends, and areas where Ikore can make a significant impact. 
  • Proposal Writing: Lead the team’s efforts in responding to CFAs, RFP, EOI, bids etc. 
  • Project Management: Lead and manage all projects, ensuring successful implementation, monitoring, and reporting. 
  • Capacity Building: Contribute to the capacity building of identified stakeholders through training and knowledge sharing initiatives. 
  • Reporting and Evaluation: Monitor and evaluate the impact of partnerships and business development efforts, providing regular reports to senior management. 

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Agriculture, Economics, International Development, or a related field. A Master’s degree will be a plus. 
  • Proven experience in business development, partnership management, and project management, preferably in the development sector. 
  • Strong understanding of the sector ecosystem. 
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships. 
  • Results-oriented with a passion for sustainable development and social impact. 
  • Ability to work independently, take initiative, and adapt to changing priorities. 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and project management tools. 
  • Fluent in English; knowledge of the 3 major languages in Nigeria is a plus but not required.
