Key duties and responsibilities:
- Training, Coaching, Mentoring and Supervising Accounts Relations Officers.
- Assessing, reviewing and approving loans as per the credit lending policy
- Managing the performance and development of line staff.
- Developing and executing plans that will allow the branch to achieve their targets and implement strategies set by the institution.
- Monitoring the implementation of business growth strategies (lending and deposits) in the assigned Branches and make recommendations in line with the regional work plan and operational policies.
- Monitoring key performance indicators for the Accounts Relations Officers i.e Client set targets, Portfolio quality set targets and Volumes
- Ensuring proper procedures of custodianship of loan securities are followed
- Ensuring Accounts Relations Officers maintain proper loan documentation as per the records and retention policy.
- Analyzing, compiling and submitting reports as per the reporting standards
- Planning and conducting performance appraisals as we as counseling of the Accounts Relations Officers

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
A Bachelor’s degree in any business oriented field, BBA, B.COM and degree in Microfinance. A sound knowledge of Microfinance, principles and practices of banking will be an added advantage
At least 3years work experience in Micro Finance Deposit Taking Institution.
Availability to travel 70% of the available time
