The Head of Support Services (HSS) leads the support services of the mission. The HSS manages and coordinates activities of the following support department: Finance, Human Resources and Logistics, including supply. The HSS Support ensures the respect by all of Solidarités International HR, Finance, Logistics and supply processes, as well as compliance with donor requirement linked with the departments he is managing. He / She is the direct manager of the Finance, HR logistics managers. She/he participate to the design of the mission strategy.

PRIORITIES ON THE 2-3 FIRST MONTHS
- Coordinate, participate to the setting up / recruitment, induction and training of the coordination support team
Support the launching of activities of ECHO and CDCS programs - Oversee the setting up of the coordination office
- Oversee the implementation of regular administrative processes, in accordance with national regulations
YOUR PROFILE
DIPLOMAS
Master Degree in humanitarian/development studies, social sciences, management or other related discipline.
EXPERIMENT IN THE HUMANITARIAN SECTOR
+5 years

TECHNICAL SKILLS
- Strong knowledge of donors’ policies and guidelines. Experience with ECHO, BHA or CDCS
- Experience working in contries with strong administrative regulations and in coordination with local authorities
- Strong knowledge of principled-based and experience of diplomatic approaches
- Good reporting and writing skills
- Previous experience and achievements in working in consortium and strong partnerships with NGOs locals and internationals (MoUs, negotiations, governance…)
- Experience of mission opening phase
- Knowledge and experience of Si tools and processes
- Knowledge and experience in SI sectors of expertise (WASH, FSL, Shelter) is an asset

- Proven management ability, including ability to motivate and develop skills of team’s members.
- Excellent communication, networking skills, organizational and prioritization skills, ability to multi-task
- Capacity to adapt and show organizational flexibility
