- Define and drive the retail structure for Airtel Uganda.
- Manage deployment of the target numbers for all retail channels.
- Delivering sales by developing relationships with retail partners.
- Develop and implement sales processes and policies that are aligned and support distribution strategies.
- Define and implement strategies/plans to grow and improve REC additions from Gross Adds.
- Develop and implement acquisition strategies for the various sales verticals across Retail.
- Utilize market research and effective competitor analysis to develop and implement retail plan/strategies that will give Airtel an edge over completion.
- Constantly monitor all indices to ensure performance against set target while ensuring remedial action for all under-performing initiatives.
- To facilitate and develop the “P&L” for the retail channels comprising both Sales and Service parameters earnings.
- Ensure roll outs and drive healthy profitability in the retail.
- To devise and facilitate IT enabled key automation projects for roll outs at each.
- Define & drive quality customer experience.
- Manage, motivate, & develop staff.
Qualifications
- University Degree in any business-related field.
- Post-graduate education or training is added advantage.
- 10+ years of work experience in Customer service or Retail management with 5 years in a senior manager role.
- Telecommunication work experience.
- Team Leadership.

- Ability to influence and get things done quickly.
