This role is concerned with customizing the Transaction Banking strategy aligned to Malawi to grow the franchise in changing environments. It is focused on enabling client centricity within known sectors. Teams reporting to this role are adaptable in variable conditions where the role is responsible for managing a mix of skills and teams.

- A thorough working knowledge of a Transaction Banking environment with good exposure to Transactional products, client facing experience and the value chain.
Key Job Functions
- Adapt and embed the Transaction Banking strategy aligned to the Standard Bank Group Strategy.
- Drive client centric solutioning to meet clients’ needs and capitalize on synergies with clients to grow market share, share of wallet and deliver a consistent client experience.
- Manage business risk related to product and processing decisions across the value chain within Transaction Banking and overall CIB Clients.
- Manage financial performance to achieve revenue, headline earnings and return on equity targets.
- Manage and optimize the mix of product offerings and distribution channels across the value chain to grow market share.
- Partner with relevant stakeholder to monitor and manage Transaction Banking technology to provide a seamless and favorable client experience across the value chain and retain /grow key client relationships.
