The main duties of the Honorary Inspector shall be to administer, monitor and enforce measures for the protection of the environment and the prevention of pollution in the designated area of operation.
The specific scope of work at any given time shall be specified in the Works Order issued by ZEMA Management.
Main Duties And Accountabilities
2.0 General Inspections;
• Compliance monitoring;
• Environmental Auditing;
• Response to Environmental complaints;
• Environmental emergency response; and
• Investigations.
3.0 Minimum Qualifications For Appointment
• A Diploma in science, engineering, social sciences or related field;
• Good communication (oral and written) and analytical skills;
• Demonstratable knowledge in environmental management;
