DRC Cameroon is seeking to recruit an intern in administration and human resources for its office based in Yaoundé.
3. Functions and Responsibilities
Under the technical supervision of the human resources coordinator, the administration and human resources intern is responsible for:
- Scan the Yaoundé personnel file
- Classify the Yaoundé personnel file
- Support international staff in obtaining/renewing visas and residence permits
- Support in liaison with the authorities
- Manage incoming and outgoing mail
4. Required qualifications
Experience and technical skills :
– University degree, human resources; administration; international law; communication or similar.
– Proficiency in common software such as Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.
– Academic level equivalent to a minimum of a Bac+2, university in the field of human resources; administration, Project Management, Business Administration or Bioforce type training;
– Excellent command of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
– Excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to work under pressure and in stressful conditions;
– Good understanding of the working context within an international environment.

6. General regulations
- The employee must follow DRC’s instructions regarding security, confidentiality and ethical guidelines, including the Code of Conduct and the Humanitarian Responsibility Framework
- The employee must not carry out any other paid activity during the duration of the DRC contract without prior authorization.
- The Employee shall not engage in any activity that may be detrimental to DRC or the implementation of any project during the term of the DRC contract.
- The employee must not give interviews to the media or publish photos related to DRC programs or share other materials without receiving prior authorization.
