Roofings Group is the leading manufacturer of quality steel and plastic building products in East Africa. We are currently seeking to recruit a highly motivated, technically experienced, and competent persons, with zeal to perform beyond expectations and excited to Join a (30) years leading steel manufacture
- Manage compensation, benefits, and employee entitlements to ensure timely and accurate payroll processing.
- Prepare and share monthly payroll and overtime reports for management review.
- Track employee overtime, update the relevant payroll components, and monitor associated costs.
- Address employee inquiries related to salaries and benefits, in a timely and professional manner.
- Monitor time and attendance records to ensure accuracy and adherence to organizational policies.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in both physical files and electronic systems.
- Regularly update and manage employee data in the SAP & TA systems to ensure data accuracy, integrity, and availability for reporting and compliance needs.
- Coordinate with immediate supervisors to schedule and approve employee leave, ensuring timely updates in the system for accurate tracking.
- Monitor employee safety, welfare, and workplace relations.
- Collaborate with immediate supervisors and line managers to track performance indicators at both the section and individual employee levels.
- Bachelor’s degree in human resource management, Industrial and Organizational Psychology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience in a fast-paced environment, preferably within the manufacturing sector.
- Strong understanding of payroll processing, tax regulations and labor Laws.
- Proficient in the use of SAP and Time & Attendance (TA) systems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong decision-making and problem-solving capabilities.
- Exceptional interpersonal and people management skills.
- High attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and quality in all tasks.
