The FSRA invites applications from suitably qualified and experienced individuals to apply for the Human Resources Business Partner vacancy within the Corporate Services Department.

Reporting to the Manager: Human Resources, the Human Resources Business Partner has the responsibility to assist in the delivery of the HR Strategy to solve identified business challenges and improve operational efficiencies throughout the employee lifecycle. The position is also responsible for facilitating culture transformation and building a positive employee experience through improved processes and new initiatives to drive motivation and optimise performance.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in the development and implementation of the HR strategy through partnering with business units to align the HR strategy to the business strategy
  • Coordinate the delivery of training programmes, track budgets and ensure cost efficiency
  • Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures, guidelines and HR metrics
  • Develop monthly and quarterly HR reports
  • Perform timely and accurate payroll processes, maintaining compliance and confidentiality, administer payroll and maintain records relating to staff on Human Resource Information System
  • Contribute to the talent management strategy and assist with recommending initiatives to improve succession activities and retention plans including conditions of employment
  • Perform the day-to-day administration and operational duties of the human resources function providing support to the entire organisation
  • Act as the custodian of the FSRA performance management process and system
  • Support and institutionalise the FSRA’s core values and corporate culture
  • Coordinate the FSRA’s end to end learning and development programs including learning needs analysis, design, evaluation, coaching and mentoring, leadership development and staff training plans and training budget, and ensure the effective implementation
  • Facilitate the entire recruitment and selection process within the FSRA
  • Carry out the effective induction orientation, onboarding and integration of new hires as well as offboarding including record keeping of these practices.
  • Administer the Human Resources Information System and ensure data integrity, accuracy of staff records and filing including leave administration.
  • Collaborate with the Wellness Committee to design, coordinate and administer of employee Wellness programmes to ensure the overall wellbeing of FSRA employees.
  • Assist with the delivery of the organisation’s Employee engagement, teambuilding and recognition initiatives.
  • Required Qualifications and Key Competencies
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Industrial Psychology, Social Sciences or equivalent
  • Minimum of 3 years Human Resource working experience including 1 year in payroll and benefits processing and administration.
  • Extensive exposure to employee relations, performance management, recruitment and Human Resources Information Systems.
  • Experience with change management and performance management is an added advantage
  • Presentation and facilitation capabilities.
  • Ability to analyse, interpret and explain the legal framework regulating employment
  • HR advisory and reporting.
