General OBJECTIVES

With the Mission experiencing a scale-up in terms of activities, it has become necessary and urgent to hire a HR Coordinator. The HR coordinator will direct and coordinate all local HR matters, administrative, and labor services.

He/she will take part in defining Solidarités International’s human resource policies, and ensure that it is followed.

He/she will monitor adherence to and donor processes and guidelines as well as to the laws and requirements of the country. He/she is the point of reference for the mission, and the link between headquarters and the mission for all administrative matters.

ISSUES AND SPECIFIC CHALLENGES

  • Policies to be reviewed as a matter of priority:
  • Daily worker management:
  • Remuneration & benefits package:
  • Staff representative framework & implementation
  • Duty of care policy
  • Distribution of responsibilities between coordination and the base, improvement of communication patterns, strengthening of base capacities, etc.
  • PSEAH trainings
  • Lots of trips to be planned to our 2 bases (Malakal & Bentiu) and 2 sub-bases.
  • HR coordinator coordinates the implementation of Solidarités International Human Resources policy.

YOUR PROFILE EDUCATION:

Education:

no specific diploma required, what matters the most is the experience in the humanitarian field.

EXPERIMENT

  • 5 years in the humanitarian sector

EXPERIMENT ON SIMILAR POSITIONS

  • 0-2 years

TECHNICAL SKILLS

  • Payroll management
  • HR tools/HR policy design + implementation ( trainings )
  • Exp in disciplinary cases management.

TRANSVERSAL SKILLS

  • Patient & firm
  • Pedagogue ( many trainings to be done about HR tools, HR principles, management, PSEAH)
  • Diplomatic, a lot of representation with administration and labor authorities
