The purpose of this role is to ensure that the workforce is well managed thereby fostering productivity, and promoting a positive work environment for the attainment of both strategic and tactical goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and/or implement HR policies and procedures that support the Institute’s strategic objectives.
- Oversee administration of employee benefits including salary, gratuity, health insurance and leave
- Implement performance management systems that encourage productivity, employee growth and accountability.
- Provide guidance and support to managers and staff on HR-related matters, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions and employee relations.
- Ensure compliance with labour laws and regulations to mitigate risks.
- Manage the recruitment and selection process to attract top talent.
- Oversee employee onboarding, training, and development programs.
Requirements
- Master’s Degree in Human Resource Management or related field
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management
- Minimum of five (05) years of experience in human resource management, with at least three (03) years as a manager in an organization of more than 100 employees.
- Proficiency in HR software and/or Microsoft Office Suite is an added advantage
