The Human Resources and Administration Officer will be responsible for providing guidance in human resource and administrative issues for effective and efficient delivery of services.
Duties and Responsibilities

Develop, review and coordinate implementation of HR and administrative policies, plans, procedures, standards, regulations and budgets.

Interpreting human resource and administrative policies, terms and conditions of service and regulations.

Planning, coordinating, monitoring and evaluating staff development programs.

Overseeing the development, implementation and maintenance of inventory, and property and fleet management systems.
-
Preparing, organizing and maintaining accurate staff records and database
-
Reviewing job descriptions taking into account changes in job requirements
-
Handling staff discipline and welfare issues such as grievances, compensation and overtime claims, leave applications as well as loans.

Developing and implementing staff orientation and induction programs.

Coordinating staff recruitment and selection.

Maintaining Human Resource Management Information System and database.

Designing and implementing performance management system and facilitating periodic performance appraisals.

Allocating work and appraising staff
Qualification, Experience and Competencies
-
At least a diploma degree in business administration, business management
-
At least 2 years relevant work experience

Excellent verbal and written communication skills to be able to effectively coordinate various teams, project managers, and contractors, as well as write plans and proposals

Strong interpersonal skills

Excellent time management skills

Computer literacy to be able to keep accurate record of construction supplies

Good project management skills, since schedules are crucial to construction projects
