Provide Human resources functions related to the Country Office
Key Activity Areas
· Human Resource Planning, talent acquisition & management, staff onboarding for the country office in collaboration with the department heads.
· Be a change champion for HR initiatives and projects in the country office
· Responsible for employee relations and staff welfare at the country level.
· Coordinate the assessment of staff periodical performance evaluation
· Management of staff personnel files
· Guide staff members on the interpretation of human resource policy provisions and other related policies
· Coordinating staff development trainings
· Manage staff medical insurance, health and wellness activities
· Prepare HR reports for Senior Management Team (SMT)
Requirements
Required Qualifications and Professional Experience
· Degree in Human Resource Management. Masters in human resources management is an added advantage
· 5 years of post-qualification experience is a must
· Human Resource Information System (HRIS), Payroll softwares
· Membership with the Zambia Institute of Human Resource Management (ZIHRM)
· Up to date with Zambian labour laws
Required Skills & Competencies
· Excellent experience in report writing, donor rules and regulations,
· Excellent writing and analytical skills
· Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision, under pressure and under tight deadlines
· Capacity building and facilitation skills
· Bi-lingual with excellent knowledge of English and any of the local language
· Able to build effective working relationships at all levels.
· Confidentiality, accountability, integrity and ability to handle sensitive situations
· Initiative and ability to work independently and propose solutions to diverse problems.
· Experience working in a team environment and building a team.
· Active listener with good interpersonal skills
· Demonstrated flexibility and or adaptability.
· Excellent organizational and planning skills
· Ability to work in a high-pressured environment and to multi-task

Working Conditions, Travel and Environment
- The duties of the job require regular job attendance at least five days per week. Must be available to work outside normal office hours or on the weekends as required.
