Reports to Assistant Study Coordinator. The incumbent is responsible for supervising research assistants to ensure accurate data is captured while managing logistics for all field activities.
Main Duties
- Supervises research assistants and community health care workers
- Oversees all data and specimen collection activities
- Coordinates with the Administrative Assistant to manage logistics for all field activities
- Provides real time information on implementation challenges and solutions
- Performs QA/QC monitoring of study processes and acting on discrepancies immediately
- Participates in study sensitization activities
- Maintains confidentiality of study data and privacy of participants at all times
- Any other assigned duties/responsibilities for the successful functioning of the study
Qualifications
- Grade 12 Certificate
- Minimum Diploma in Development Studies/ Sociology/Public health/Adult Education or in another relevant area. Degree will be an added advantage
- 2 years relevant work experience in supervisory role
- Demonstrated experience in qualitative and quantitative research
- Demonstrated experience in program implementation
- Demonstrated experience working with communities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Good relationship skills in relation to community and Government departments
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- Fluency in English and Bemba/Nyanja
