Reporting to the Information Security Manager, the job holder will oversee all actions involving the company’s digital assets, including a threat management overview for intrusion detection systems, enterprise anti-malware, log monitoring tools, and other security data sources. Manage and monitor all IT security issues as a member of the incident handling team.

Key Attributes & Skills     

1. Must be fully conversant with technologies such as Security Incident and Event Management (SIEM), Firewalls, IPS, and EDR sources.
2. Must have CISM, CISA, SSCP, CompTIA Security or any recognisable security-oriented certification.
3. Must have in-depth understanding of Unix/Linux and Windows Platforms.
4. Should have good knowledge and hands on experience in Patch Management, Endpoint Protection, Systems Monitoring.
5. Innovative solution provider, capable of articulating new ideas and changes.
6. Must have Security Operations Centre (SOC) knowledge.

Qualifications & Experience

1. Grade 12 School Certificate with at least a credit in English & Mathematics and any other subject.
2. A Bachelor’s degree in computer science/information technology or equivalent from a recognised institution.
3. Membership to a relevant Professional Body.
4. At least Five (05) Years’ relevant professional experience.
