How can you make a difference?
The national consultant will be in charge of developing a package of briefing notes that are clear, concise, and engaging with accurate data, that can be used rapidly to respond to proposals’ opportunities. These briefing notes must include an itemized cost (per child, per unit), pictures, infographics, and maps. He/she will also have as the main objective to create, write and edit 15 briefing notes, in close collaboration with the UNICEF colleagues from programme and Resource Mobilization, but also with the Programme Monitoring and evaluation (PME) and finance sections.
Scope of Work:
The consultancy work includes:
- Reading and analyzing the existing documentation sent by the PAC and the chiefs of sections,
- Creating and proposing a standard template for these donors’ briefings by supervising a graphic designer,
- Identifying the key messages for each topic,
- Having an interview with the focal point,
- Identifying the pictures, maps, infographics, and stories from the field abstracts,
- Writing the briefing in English or French, according to the consultant’s preference,
- Submitting it for corrections up to approval,
- Finalizing the document and layout, and translate it into English or French
Duration:
The consultancy will run from 17thof February 2025 to 27th April 2025. The briefing notes required for the period of the consultancy are 15 topics and the consultant will be required to submit each of the completed topics at any time of its completion.

Payment details and further considerations :
Payment of professional fees will be based on the submission of agreed deliverables. UNICEF reserves the right to withhold payment in case the deliverables submitted are not up to the required standard or in case of delays in submitting the deliverables on the part of the consultant.
