We are looking for an experienced Applications Officer to oversee the development,
maintenance, and support of enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will ensure
that business applications meet operational requirements, align with company goals,
and support digital transformation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of business applications.
• Manage a team of developers, analysts, and support staff to ensure efficient application
delivery.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and optimize application
performance.
• Ensure security, compliance, and scalability of applications.
• Drive application modernization, including cloud migration and integration with
new technologies.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement improvements.
• Manage vendor relationships and third-party application providers.
• Develop and enforce best practices for application lifecycle management.
Qualifications and Experience
• Grade 12 with five credits including English and Mathematics
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science. A master’s degree is an advantage.
• Minimum of 5 years of work experience
