Responsibilities
The main responsibilities of the IT & Digital Platform Officer are:
- Maintain the computer networks of the organisation, providing technical support and ensuring the whole company runs smoothly
- Monitor and maintain the company computer systems, install, and configure hardware and software, and solve technical issues as they arise.
- Resolving IT support requests from employees
- Answering employee questions regarding computer systems
- Gathering and analyzing data to diagnose problems with computer systems
- Changing configurations, settings and permissions to fix computer issues
- Installing new software and hardware drivers and updating existing ones as needed
- Updating employees on the status of their service requests
- Logging all service requests and updating tickets as needed
- Manage and maintain the organization’s digital platform
- Develop and implement platform strategiesto enhance the organization’s online presence and user experience. This can include identifying opportunities for growth, optimizing platform features, and staying updated on industry trends.
- Managing and organizing digital content on the platform. This can involve uploading and updating content, ensuring it is accurate and up-to-date, and optimizing it for search engine visibility.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teamsand coordinate efforts to ensure the platform aligns with the organization’s goals.
- Data analysis and reporting.Analyzingplatform performance metricsuser engagement data, and other relevant analytics to assess the effectiveness of the platform,generate reports and provide insights to inform decision-making and drive improvements.
Requirements
- Minimum of B.Sc/HND in Computer Science or related course
- Knowledgeable about the use and maintenance of computers
- Proficient in Web and Graphics design
- Good communication and people relations skills.
- Brilliant negotiation skills.
