Manage the University’s online presence in coordination with the public relations office. And provide administrative and technical management of all facets of a principal university website, consisting of a comprehensive range of associated web pages.

1. Implement the University’s web administrative related policies and procedures;
2. Administer address assignment and access according to an approved plan and access policy;
3. Design and manage primary University website in accordance with the university’s identity guidelines;
4. Produce templates and designs of various Units web pages;
5. Keep abreast of changes in social media and incorporate these within university systems;
6. Ensure integrity of the University’s online presence through monitoring Web servers and their performance;
7. Maintain records of who is ultimately responsible for website they host;
8. Administer and monitor access levels including blocking unauthorized access;
9. Perform any other relevant duties assigned by the Supervisor.
10. Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or any other related field specialization in web design;
11. Honours Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or any other related field with relevant hands on experience in web design and management;
12. Relevant professional certification.
13. Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in managing online presence of large organizations
14. Knowledge in web design and maintenance;
15. Knowledge in managing Web Servers;
16. Good conceptual skills;
17. Output oriented;
18. Initiative and innovation;
19. Knowledge of open-source software and platforms and relevant programming languages
