The position exists to provide Information Technology support to the Company’s operations in a safe, effective and efficient manner by providing reliable, cost-effective solutions to meet business requirements. The role will be responsible for the installation of all server hardware, operating systems, software and network infrastructures within the business.

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide technical leadership, guidance and mentorship to junior members of staff.
• Manage the evaluation, selection and implementation of new technologies, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify technology needs and develop innovative solutions.
• Oversee the development and maintenance of enterprise architecture standards, policies, and guidelines.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices related to information security, data privacy, and environmental sustainability.
• Build and maintain relationships with external partners and vendors to source cutting-edge technologies and services.
• Monitor emerging trends and advancements in digital transformation and drive initiatives to leverage them for competitive advantage.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems or related field.

5 years’ experience in Information Technology (IT) support environment preferably in a mining industry.

Proven expertise in managing complex IT projects and implementing technology solutions.

Strong understanding of networking concepts, protocols, and technologies.

Experience with cloud computing platforms such as Microsoft Azure or Amazon Web Services (AWS).

Knowledge of scripting languages like PowerShell or Python.

Ability to analyze and interpret complex technical information.

Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
