JamboPay is an electronic payments platform that enables businesses, governments ,non government organizations and individuals to securely make and receive payments over mobile, web, banks and a network of physical agents.
Key Responsibilities
Contract Management:
- Assist in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.
- Maintain and organize a comprehensive database of all contracts and legal documents.
Legal Research and Analysis:
- Conduct legal research on various topics as required by the legal team.
- Analyze legal information and provide summaries and recommendations.
Compliance:
- Assist in ensuring the Jambopay’s compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
- Help in the preparation and submission of regulatory filings and documentation.
Administrative Support:
- Provide general administrative support to the legal department.
- Assist in the preparation of reports, presentations, and legal correspondence.
Requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) from a recognized institution.
- A valid practicing certificate or eligibility to obtain one.
- Some experience in a legal environment (internships, placements, or entry-level positions) is preferred.
- Strong understanding of legal principles and procedures.
