Job description

You Will

Develop and implement the sales and partnership strategy plan to expand revenue growth
Generate appropriate category and customer strategies/tactics to build the customer plan at store level
Develop a client database of current and potential clients, including but not limited to supermarkets, specialty stores, corporations, hotels / resorts
Build out Savanna’s channel partnerships, identifying ways to create mutually beneficial value, build brand awareness and new revenue-generating opportunities through referrals, reseller, and co-sell opportunities
In addition to existing partners, you will be instrumental in bringing on our next set of reseller partnerships for new distribution channels through emails, cold calling, attending events, setting up client meetings, following up with clients, etc.
Identify key stakeholders within partner organizations to drive incremental revenue opportunities for a broad range of Savanna’s offerings and resolve client complaints/problems to ensure client retention.
Drive partner enablement, ensuring partners are up to date on Savanna’s products
Work with Savanna’s partners to conduct thorough account research, identify key stakeholders, discover pain points, & engage with prospects in the partner network
Interact with all key contacts within the store such as branch manager, store buyer, floor manager and the receiving manager
Negotiate permanent, promotional and ad hoc space with customer at store level
Work closely with Marketing to ensure the delivery of existing collateral and samples to Partners in a scalable manner
Manage point of sale material properly in various stores and maintain the company’s corporate image
Drive collaborative opportunities to reach target customers through webinars, conferences, and other events.
Ensure all orders made by clients are fulfilled and received accurately and on time.
Prepare sales reports, market reports and targets set by management are met at all times and without fail

An Ideal Candidate Has

A bachelor’s degree in Sales & Marketing or similar field is required
3-5 years’ experience working in the field of B2B sales, partnerships and business development preferably in FMCG (fast moving consumer goods) industry
Demonstrated experience driving new partnership deals from end to end
Experience in client-facing roles that interacted with senior and executive level staff in the past, is desired.
Strong time management, written and verbal communication, and interpersonal skills
Demonstrated ability to prospect potential clients effectively for scheduling meetings
Willingness to travel to attend conferences for prospecting, relationship-building purposes and understanding the market in the provinces
Comfort and willingness to work in a fast-paced environment
