As a Kindergarten teacher at Holy Cross Catholic International school, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the minds of our students. You will be responsible for delivering engaging informative lessons that align with the Cambridge curriculum.
- Teaching and educating students according to the educational needs, abilities and attainment potential of individual students entrusted to his/her care by the School Principal.
- Planning and implementing age-appropriate lessons and activities that promote the cognitive,social and emotional growth of students.
- Contributing to and sharing responsibility for the realization of the vision and philosophy of the school.
- Demonstrating and promoting the positive values, attitudes and behaviors that are expected from all members of staff.
- Regularly assessing student progress and development, providing feedback to parents/guardians. Maintaining accurate and complete records of students’ progress and development.
- Communicating effectively with parents/guardians, colleagues and administrators to support student learning and development.
- Working within the school’s policies and framework relating to teachers’ responsibilities.
- Creating a classroom environment that is conducive to learning, is developmentally appropriate to the maturity and interests of the students and maintaining an organized and focused learning environment.
- Infusing joy and passion for learning in lessons so that students are excited and interested in their academic excellence.
- Being accountable for students’ mastery of content and academic standards.
- Maintaining positive, constructive and professional relationship with students, their families and colleagues.
Ideal Candidate
- TSC certification and a relevant degree/diploma in Early Childhood Education, Elemantary Education or a related field
- Atleast 2 years teaching experience
- Must be a practising Catholic who embraces the teachings of the Catholic church.
- Flexible and open to change – you handle uncertainity and complexity well.
- A strong understanding of the Cambridge curriculum.
- A passion for teaching and a commitment to student success.
