To support the implementation of the students’ academic, research and innovation programmes of the
University.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
i. Prepares learning materials and delivers lectures to students.
ii. Participates in the review and development of the University curriculum.
iii. Participates in the development of manuals and kits for conducting, supervision and evaluation
of practical assignments to students.
iv. Examines, assesses and marks students’ assignments.
v. Undertakes research to support the development of the University academic research agenda.
vi. Supervises students’ academic research, iinternship programmes and community outreach activities.
vii. Participates in the organization and implementation of university academic conferences, seminars
and workshops.
viii. Provides technical support and supervision to junior academic staff.
ix. Performs any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.
KEY OUTPUTS
i. Lecture materials prepared and lectures delivered to students.
ii. University curriculum developed and reviewed.
iii. Manuals and kits developed for conducting, supervision and evaluation of practical assignments
to students.
iv. Students’ assignments examined and marked.
v. Research to develop the University academic research agenda developed.
vi. Students’ academic research, internship program and community outreached activities supervised.
vii. Academic conferences, seminars and workshops for the University organized.
viii. Technical support and supervision provided to junior staff.
ix. Any other duties assigned from time to time performed.

WORK EXPERIENCE
I) At least three years (03) of teaching experience in a reputable institution of higher learning.
AGE LIMIT
The applicant must be fifty-five (55) years or below at the time of application.
TENURE OF APPOINTMENT
The appointment shall be on permanent terms upon successful completion of a probationary period of six (06) months (where applicable).
