Responsibilities/Key Tasks
Teaching Communication Skills to undergraduate students and communication courses to
postgraduate students in accordance with Faculty guidelines and standards;

2. Coordinating academic activities for students that develop their problem-solving skills;
3. Inculcating creative and critical thinking capabilities in students in line with Education 5.0;
4. Research;
5. Community Service; and
6. Performing any other assigned duties.

Full-time Lecturer in Communication Skills x 1 Post
Desired Qualifications, Experience and Attributes
A PhD Degree in English/ Communication/ Applied Linguistics or equivalent is an added
advantage;
1.
2. Master of Arts in English/ Communication/ Applied Linguistics, or equivalent;
3. Bachelor of Arts in English/ Communication/ Applied Linguistics or equivalent;
4. A teaching qualification would be added advantage; and
5. At least two (2) years relevant teaching experience at tertiary level.
