To teach, assess student performance, conduct research, publish and undertake academicrelated responsibilities and to carry out community service.
Qualifications and experience required:
i. Must have a full Grade 12 School Certificate with at least five (5) Credits that must include
English Language and Mathematics
ii. Must have an earned Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Sciences from a reputable
and accredited University
iii. Must have an earned Master of Science degree in Medical Parasitology, or Master of
Science (Infectious Diseases and Zoonosis) from a reputable and accredited University
iv. Must have functional computer literacy skills
v. Possession of a minimum of two (2) years teaching experience at University level will be
added advantage
vi. Proof of research and publications will also be an added advantage
vii. A PhD in Parasitology will equally be an added advantage
viii. Must have a valid practicing license from the Health Professions Council of Zambia (HPCZ)
