Coca-Cola Beverages South Africa (CCBSA) has an exciting opportunity in our Logistics department. We are looking for talented individual with relevant skills and experience for Logistics Planning Specialist, which is based in Midrand. The successful candidate will report directly to the Distribution Planner Manager : Logistics.
Key Purpose
Alignment and daily optimisation of CCBSA Order delivery optimisation to maximise resource utilisation and minimise waste through:
- Analysing , evaluating , identifying and recommending process enhancement change to ensure a perfect order is received and delivered daily
- Making use of systems to effective implementation and manage CCBSA order management rules across all channels of order placement
- Delivery day optimization through the availability of a perfect order
- Resource utilisation optimised
- Routing simplified and optimised
Qulaification & Experience
- B Comm. Degree/Diploma or equivalent recognised qualification in transport or transport Logistics
- Advanced Excel and PC skills
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in an Operations, Warehousing or analytics role
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a planning environment
- Good understanding of Road Transport and related legislation and NOSA.
- Understanding and knowledge of CCBSA distribution systems
