• Populate the weekly production plan by interpreting tactical plans for production planning.
• Optimise the production plan, ensuring that it is sequenced to minimise waste or cost and benefit efficiencies

• Communicate with stakeholders regarding planning exceptions and deviations, risks and significant drops in production so that contingency plans can be made, and support provided.
• Review production performance (PVA) to assess production status and identify dropped volume.
• Check and ensure availability of raw materials for Production.

• Plan Primary Distribution (PD) loads on the system and analyse stock availability considering inbound and outbound loads.
• Monitor sales figures to stay abreast of sales spikes and drops

Team Management and Administration

• The effective management of allocated team, to allow for the achievement of set goals and high-quality work output.
• Ensure the continuous development of allocated team to allow for the effective and efficient functioning of the planning division.

Judgement and Decision Making 

• The role operates under stringent rules, procedures and policies- governance and legal compliance is essential.
• The role has minimal latitude to determine priorities and task sequence. The plans are drafted by the Logistics Support Controller and signed off by the Supply Manager.
• The role can identify opportunities for optimisation from a plant planning perspective and will need to obtain sign off from the Supply Manager to effect any changes
