- Security System Management
- Oversee surveillance systems to ensure continuous monitoring and control of all shipments and company properties, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.
- Coordinate with the surveillance team to conduct 24/7 live monitoring of identified hot spots vulnerable to theft, including unauthorized drink.
- Ensure seamless integration between surveillance systems and physical security measures to protect against theft and safety violations.
- Implement uniform security protocols and internal control systems across all plants to maintain consistency and effectiveness.
- Conduct surprise shipment or product/property movement process reviews and check-ins with relevant stakeholders
- Identify security risks and vulnerabilities, including areas prone to theft, and collaborate on proactive measures to mitigate these risks.
- Designate hot spots for continuous monitoring and collaborate with the Facility and Security Manager to implement preventive measures.
- Ensure effective communication and coordination with internal and external stakeholders to maintain robust security measures.
- Promptly report and respond to fraudulent acts, theft attempts, and safety violations, ensuring comprehensive incident documentation and escalation.
- Compile detailed incident reports with all necessary evidence and escalate to respective line managers or departments for immediate action.
- Organize training sessions and develop materials to enhance the security team’s understanding of protocols and procedures.
- Collaborate with the Facility and Security Manager to deliver targeted training sessions tailored to the specific needs of the team.
- Develop and implement uniform security protocols and internal control systems across all locations to maintain consistency and effectiveness.
- Conduct surprise checks and coordinate with relevant stakeholders to review shipment processes and product/property movements.
- Continuous Monitoring and Improvement
- Ensure 24/7 live monitoring of high-risk areas and continuously improve security measures based on identified trends and incidents.
- Analyze security data and trends to recommend and implement improvements in security practices and protocols.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in security management, criminal justice, business administration, or a related field (preferred).
Experience
- Proven experience (5+ years) managerial experience in security operations, preferably in a corporate or industrial setting
Skills
- Strong knowledge of security systems, protocols, and best practices.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Ability to handle high-pressure situations, with strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with security laws and regulations and procedures.
- Certification in security management (e.g., Certified Protection Professional or Physical Security Professional) is a plus.
