To support Ibero’s ambitious growth plans, we are looking for a:
Machine Operator – Ibero Uganda Limited (f/m/d).
The position will be based in our Kampala Uganda office and will report directly to the Factory Manager of Ibero Uganda Limited.
Your responsibilities

Machine Operation: Safely and efficiently operate machinery involved in coffee production, ensuring optimal performance.

Monitoring Performance: Regularly assess machine performance and adjust maintain quality and efficiency.

Quality Control: Ensure that the coffee produced meets quality standards, monitoring for consistency in taste and appearance.

Maintenance: Perform routine preventive maintenance and address any breakdowns promptly to minimize downtime.

Reporting: Communicate regularly with management about production metrics, machine performance, and any issues that arise.

Safety Compliance: Follow safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment, addressing hazards and ensuring equipment is used properly.

Documentation: Maintain accurate records of production, maintenance, and any incidents or breakdowns, ensuring all checklists are completed.

Cleaning: Ensure all machinery is thoroughly cleaned before and after use to prevent contamination and maintain operational efficiency.

Team Collaboration: Work closely with other team members and departments to ensure smooth production processes and address any challenges that arise.

Any other duties as allocated from time to time.
Your profile

Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related fields
-
Minimum of 3years work experience, preferably in a coffee processing plant.

Good communication, work planning and reporting skills.

Problem solving skills

Interpersonal skills and good time management are key.

Fluency in English
