To make spare parts for machines as well as maintaining the already existing ones in good working condition.

Key Responsibilities

• Participate in the making of spare parts for machines in the workshop.

• Participate in the maintenance and repair of workshop machines.

• Work on emergencies/breakdowns as required.

• Keep the workshop tools and equipment in safe custody after duty.

• Clean the working environment and maintain good house keeping

• Adhere to the safety, health and environment policy of the company

• Perform any other related duties as may be assigned by the Workshop Supervisor/Management from time to time.

B Knowledge, qualifications & Experience

C1.1 Education: A Certificate in machining & fitting, Mechanical Engineering or in any related field from a recognized institution.

C1.2 Experience, Skills and Competences:

At least two (2) years working experience and knowledge in using lathe machines in a busy Organization
