The brand experience manager will play a pivotal role in bringing the Safaricom brand to life through impactful and engaging experiences. The role will be responsible for the strategic development and execution of events, activations and sponsorships that drive brand awareness, customer engagement
Responsibilities:
The role holder will be required to demonstrate the following competency and proficiency dimensions used in our contribution framework.

- Define and refine our brand experience strategy to enhance brand visibility, create elevated experiences that strengthen customer connection and engagement with the brand.
- Analytical with ability to gather and evaluate information guiding the development of engagement moments that meet various business needs.
- Builds business insights by seeing patterns in data and anticipates the future
- Applies learnings from adjacent business units and other industries as well as taps into open innovation stream to help develop creative ideas.
- Conceptualize, plan and execute a variety of brand experiences (internal and external): events, activations, sponsorships and digital engagements across various channels. Oversee end to end logistics not limited to resourcing, budgeting, collateral and post event analysis.
Partnership and Collaboration:
- Work closely with internal teams, agencies and partners to create synergistic brand experiences.
- Manage relations with vendors, agencies and other partners to ensure high-quality brand experiences
- Identify, evaluate and manage sponsorship opportunities that enhance brands visibility and align with Safaricom’s values
Productivity / Marketing Effectiveness Management:
- Influences engagement approaches with a sharp focus on achieving critical KPI’s
- Identifies and leverages synergies within the business to scale resources whilst delivering impact
- Monitor the effectiveness of brand experience initiatives and campaigns
- Digital evangelist who actively seeks opportunities for digitization to drive efficiency
- Provide regular reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) and recommend actions for continuous improvement.
- Keeps abreast of the latest trends in experiential marketing, event tech and consumer behavior.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualification and Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree
- +4 years proven experience in brand management with a strong focus on experiential marketing, sponsorship and event management
- Strong understanding of the Kenyan market and consumer landscape
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful brand experiences
- Excellent project management and organizational skills
- Familiarity with event technology platforms
- Budget management experience
- Creative and innovative thinking
- Experience managing partners and complex projects for flawless campaign execution
- Passion for technology and its application in brand experiences
- Ability to effectively influence cross-functional stakeholders and external partners
