Kenya Commercial Bank Limited is registered as a non-operating holding company which started operations as a licensed banking institution with effect from January 1, 2016. The holding company oversees KCB Kenya – incorporated with effect from January 1, 2016 – and all KCB’s regional units in Uganda, Tanzania, Rwanda, Burundi, Ethiopia and South Sudan
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide support during month end closing activities, open/close periods, ledgers and subledgers.
- Review and follow up with IT to ensure data synchronization across finance systems (Oracle fusion, ARRO, EPBC, EDWH) with daily updates.
- Review and in liaison with IT ensure data integrity and completeness of records for correct financial reporting.
- Collate finance systems issues and work with IT and system vendors for timely resolutions.
- Updating finance system process documentation and working with system users to enhance efficiency in the operation of financial Systems.
- Training of finance users on finance system usage to drive optimum system usage, self-service reporting to minimize out of the system data extractions.
- Gathering user report requirement, designing, testing and deployment of user reports.
- Supporting users on reports and processing queries.
- Enhancing data visualization capabilities in all finance systems. Driving integration of finance systems and visualizations like MS Power-Bi Business Objects etc
MINIMUM POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
The preferred candidate will meet the below criteria:
- A Bachelor’s degree in a Technology or business related field.
- Professional qualification in Oracle system, preferably Oracle Cloud certification
- At least 4 years experience in finance systems administration, including experience in the following areas:
- Oracle ERP functional administration
- Proficient in data analytics tools e.g. EDWH, SQL, SAP BI, POWER BI
- Stakeholder management
- Experience in finance systems upgrade or implementation is an added advantage
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
