Reward & Benefits Management
Manage and lead the end-to-end cash annual compensation (People review) process for salary and bonus review, (including union salary negotiations) ensuring key deadlines are met.
Conduct annual and ad-hoc benchmarking of compensation and report findings to the Head of HR, ensure regulatory compliance of current compensation practices and implement processes and practices determined by new regulatory requirements.
Set the organization’s pay structure and benefits offerings.
Evaluate employee benefits policies to assess whether they are current, competitive, and legal.
Design a compensation package based on business goals and strategy.
Create a consistent compensation guideline that matches our work and organizational culture.
Create and analyze job descriptions evaluations and classifications.
Apply effective communication strategies.
Reward Analytics
Analysis of the different components of Reward structures and schemes in PAUL.
Prepare and present reports on internal equity and external competitiveness.
Take accountability for and run meaningful Reward related analysis, as required.
Production of regular insightful gender pay analysis – including quarterly reporting.
Salary Surveys
Conduct research and participate in compensation surveys to determine competitive wage rates and develop or modify compensation plans.
Assess employees needs by conducting organizational surveys.
Manage the relationship with the external Reward consulting companies.
Measure & sense check internal data accuracy and prepare and submit data files to survey companies within the required deadlines to enable the measurement of PAUL’s Reward position against the external market.
Reward policies and procedures
Custodian for the preparation and recording of Reward Standard Operating Procedures.
Implement changes to recognition programmes across PAUL to ensure maximum colleague engagement. Manage the Quarterly/annual incentive rewards
Keep up to date with market trends and legislation changes
Benefits
Manage the relationships with both internal and external stakeholders regarding the implementation and maintenance of all employee benefit programs including but not limited to: Medical, Group life, GPA, Pension, Employee Assistance, and wellbeing Program.
Manage all the employee benefits and use various methods and techniques to make data-based decisions on direct financial, indirect financial and non-financial compensations
Manage the communication of all company benefits to staff and keep all new joiner and Intranet information up to date
Continually monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of all company benefits. Review the benefits ensuring consistency of programs and compliance with statutory requirements.
Payroll Management
Manage the Payroll personnel, check and sign-off of monthly Payroll reports.
Partner with Finance to ensure adequate funding for all payments and ensure tax and social security payments are made to local authorities in accordance with regulatory requirements.
Review and implement improvements to the payroll process and oversee the annual payroll audit process.
Managing HR Compliance and Governance
- Review and update all HR policies and procedures.
- Produce analytical & MI reports and HR Committee papers on a quarterly basis.
- Manage the Workday system administration (MyHR) to ensure smooth interaction/service delivery for staff.
- Analyse trends and metrics with the HR department.
