DEPARTMENT: MANAGER MARKETING AND COMMUNICATIONS

Job Purpose
Responsible for formulating and implementing comprehensive marketing and communications plans to support the achievement of the overall Bank’s Strategic Objectives.
Responsibilities /Key Deliverables
1. Develop and oversee the implementation of the Marketing and communication strategy.
2. Lead the creation and execution of integrated marketing campaigns across various channels, including digital, print, broadcast, and events. 3. Develop and implement the bank’s Brand strategy by ensuring consistency across all marketing and communication materials. 4. Regularly Conduct market research to meet customers’ needs, make the Bank’s products competitive, and maximize bank profitability. 5. Prepare annual budget plans and schedule expenditures to meet the bank’s objectives and targets. 6. Develop and promote external networks for business growth and create a compelling platform for associating with the brand in line with the business plan. 7. Lead the preparation and dissemination of press releases and all public-facing communications. 8. Manage media relations and guide internal communications, including updating the intranet & managing external communications. 9. Plan, coordinate and monitor the Bank’s advertisements and public awareness campaigns. 10. Represent the Bank at a senior level for public events where necessary. 11. Monitor the media space regularly, including social media and other electronic and print media, to ensure a positive presence and value for money. 12. Create communication and marketing strategies for new products, launches, events, and promotions. 13. Prepare the department’s Business Continuity Plan and ensure it is updated at least annually. 14. Train, mentor, and motivate the marketing and communication team toward achieving agreed targets. 15. Coordinate with external agencies, vendors, and consultants to enhance marketing and communication agenda. 16. Monitor, evaluate, and report on the performance of marketing campaigns and communication initiatives. 17. Conduct performance reviews, and provide guidance and support to team members to foster productivity. 18. Plan, review and monitor the implementation of the 19.
