ACCOUNTABILITY STATEMENT
The Manager Program Development will be responsible for delivery of the Bank’s strategy for providing transformative program interventions there by contributing to the Bank’s High Impact Goals (HIGs).
PRINCIPLE DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Identify and conceptualize transformative programs that align with UDBL’s strategic objectives and national development priorities.
Develop comprehensive program proposals, including objectives, methodologies, budgets, and implementation plans.
Collaborate with relevant Government or Local Government Authorities to actualize and implement the developed programs.
Conduct market research and needs assessments to inform program direction and priorities.
Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including government agencies, private sector partners, and international organizations.
Represent UDB in relevant forums, workshops, and conferences to promote the

Establish monitoring and evaluation frameworks to assess program impact and effectiveness.
Lead and mentor a team of program officers, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
LEVEL OF AUTHORITY
Support the Head Transaction & Enterprise Services on issues relating to Programme Development.
Contact customers & prospective customers on behalf of UDB.
RELATIONSHIPS
Internally: All UDB Staff & departments. Externally:
Key external stakeholders including business associations, Bank customers and prospective customers.
Master’s degree in business, Finance, Economics or relevant field of study from a recognized university is a MUST.
Bachelor’s degree in Development Studies, Economics, Finance, Business, or a related field from a recognized university.
Relevant Post graduate qualification in business, finance, CFA, ACCA will be an added advantage.

A strong background in program management, strategic planning,
