The Manlift Operator will be responsible for operating aerial lift equipment safely and efficiently to support elevated work activities on the construction site. The role involves strict adherence to safety protocols, routine equipment checks, and effective coordination with site personnel
Duties & Responsibilities
Operate manlifts and aerial platforms to safely elevate personnel and materials to designated work areas.
Monitor load limits, working radius, and terrain conditions to ensure safe operation.
Conduct daily pre-operation inspections and routine safety checks.
Comply with all site health, safety, and operational procedures, including OSHA standards.
Communicate clearly with ground personnel and supervisors for smooth task execution.
Identify and report any mechanical issues, faults, or safety hazards.
Maintain equipment cleanliness and ensure proper storage after use.
Qualifications, Skills, and Experience
High school diploma or equivalent.
Valid manlift operator license/certification (OSHA, IPAF, or equivalent).
Minimum 2–3 years of experience operating manlifts in construction or related environments.
Strong knowledge of manlift controls, safe operation procedures, and construction site practices.
Familiar with OSHA safety regulations and best practices.
Excellent communication, teamwork, and safety awareness.
