About the role:
A manufacturing project manager is accountable for overseeing manufacturing operations and ensuring that they are meeting project plans and deadlines. In order to do this, he/she need to be able to comprehend the manufacturing process and have a good working knowledge of consumer electronics; preferably familiar with TV and smart phone manufacturing. He/she also need to be able
to communicate effectively with cross-function and international team
What you would be expected to do
- Guide the local TV/Phone CKD assembly project through all phases including facility construction, line installation and machine commissioning.
- Prepare and submit budgets, project plans, and reviews for monitoring, reporting and approvals with stakeholders.
- Work closely with both internal and external stakeholders to drive projects from inception to launch through stage gate process.
- Communicate project status and progress to internal stakeholders, and Manage project work to achieve assigned milestones and deliverables
- Hire and train a small manufacturing team including but not limited to production, engineering, quality and warehouse.
- Develop and implement plans to efficiently use materials, labour and equipment to meet production targets.
- Ensure quality standards and processes are used throughout manufacturing. Work constantly with Quality Assurance on continuous improvements and provide preventative and correction actions when problems occur.
- Manufacturing execution including configuring supply chain, production, scheduling, inventory, logistics, and integration in partnership with our delivery and quality teams.
You might be a strong candidate if you
- Have a bachelor’s Degree in Manufacturing, Engineering or Science related subject.
- Possess a minimum of 8 years of project management experience in manufacturing field is required, preferably in TV and Smart Phone manufacturing field.
- Possess outstanding verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Are familiar with standard PM tools and templates is required.
- Possess the ability to work cross-functionally and internationally.
- Are proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
