The Reliability Engineer will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability, efficiency, and sustainability of our production processes and equipment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for continuous improvement.
Key performance areas/responsibilities:
- Review machine reliability and measures and improves MTBF and MTTR.
- Develop, implement, and manage reliability improvement plans and strategies to enhance equipment and process reliability.
- Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) to identify and eliminate sources of equipment and process failures.
- Perform reliability engineering studies, including Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA) and Reliability-Centered Maintenance (RCM).
- Collaborate with maintenance, production, and engineering teams to develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
- Monitor and analyze equipment performance data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Provide technical support and guidance to maintenance and operations teams to ensure best practices are followed.
- Support capital projects by providing reliability input and recommendations during the design and implementation phases.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance plant efficiency, reduce downtime, and optimize asset utilization.
- Develop and maintain reliability and maintenance metrics to track progress and drive improvements.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in reliability engineering, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of reliability engineering principles, methodologies, and tools.
- Experience with root cause analysis (RCA) and preventive/predictive maintenance programs.
- Proficiency in using reliability software and tools (e.g., CMMS, FMEA software, reliability modeling tools).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Certification in reliability engineering (e.g., Certified Reliability Engineer (CRE)) is a plus.
