Minimum QualificationApplicants should be Ugandans holding an Honors Bachelor’s Degree of Science in Geographical Sciences; or Environmental Sciences; or Geomatics and Geo Informatics; or Land Surveying; or Land Management; or Geo-Information Systems from a recognized University /Institution.Working ExperienceApplicants should have a minimum of two (2) years relevant working experience in Government or equivalent level of relevant experience from a reputable organization.

Duties
The incumbent will be responsible to the Supervisor Physical Planning for performing the following duties:-

–          Carrying out spatial data collection, capturing, analysing and storing spatial information;

–          Designing a spatial database for Kampala Capital City and providing backstop services to all stakeholders;

–          Developing spatial data collection tools for all KCCA projects and Directorates;

–          Monitoring space allocation, data placement and creating a data dictionary;

–          Liaising with relevant Agencies so as to ensure effective implementation of Government policies on spatial data infrastructure
