- Lead technical writing and proposal design efforts that apply ACDI/VOCA’s inclusive market systems and private sector engagement approaches
- Conduct secondary and primary market systems research on end markets, value chain and through private sector landscape analyses
- Lead market systems analyses and studies
- Facilitate stakeholder consultation sessions and strategy development, developing/managing private sector partnerships, contributing to relevant learning or M&E studies, etc.
- Support overall proposal win strategy including support to teaming/partnering, recruitment, and capture strategy
- Support projects with a range of market systems analyses – sector selection, systems analysis and mapping, and entrepreneurship eco-system analyses
- Support market systems and PSE learning agenda through assessments and research
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in international development or related field
- Demonstrated experience leading technical writing and proposal design efforts for medium-large bids ($10-$30 million+)
- Technical knowledge in market systems development/private sector engagement related work
- Demonstrated familiarity with current trends in systems thinking as applied to market development – such as designing for systemic change, complexity-aware monitoring, analytical tools or consultation processes for getting to root causes, etc.
- Demonstrated experience in strategies for engaging the private sector, including partnership analysis, design, management, and evaluation
- Excellent writing and communication skills in English for writing proposals, reports, and papers
