- Bachelor’s Degree in Public Relations, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- A relevant Master’s Degree is an added advantage.
- Knowledge of advanced digital marketing expertise, including SEO/SEM, analytics tools, and social media management
- 2 years of demonstrated expertise in marketing and public relations, including developing networks across Africa.
- Strong storytelling and content creation skills, using tools like Adobe Creative Suite and Canva.
- Experience in multicultural environments and fluency in French, Portuguese, Swahili, or other African languages.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Collaborate in the creation of innovative marketing campaigns to enhance Africa University’s visibility and increase engagement with diverse audiences ensuring all marketing initiatives align with the University’s mission, vision, and strategic objectives.
- Promote Africa University’s strengths in innovation, research, and leadership development through targeted and compelling messaging.
- Work with internal teams to ensure brand consistency across all digital and traditional marketing platforms.
- Maintain the University’s brand identity through consistent storytelling and visual representation in campaigns.
- Develop and implement data-driven marketing strategies to support student recruitment, ensuring a high conversion rate from applications to enrolment.
- Collaborate with event organizers to design promotional campaigns that highlight Africa University’s role as a centre for innovation and academic excellence.
- Assist in fostering relationships with media outlets, influencers, and key partners to increase visibility for the University’s programs and achievements.
- Support outreach initiatives that strengthen Africa University’s reputation within local and international communities.
- Recommend innovative approaches to enhance Africa University’s positioning in a competitive higher education landscape
