Main Responsibilities.
- Receiving and returning of parts to stores
- Issuing of parts to technicians
- Receiving of components coming in for repair
- Hard stamping of quote number onto components (or labelling if hard stamping not possible) ·
- Issue of tools, consumables and protective clothing ·
- Requesting replacement consumables, tools and protective clothing ·
- Ensuring that all tools are returned at end of duty and safely locked away ·
- Raising of requisitions for work in progress repairs ·
- Tool store and toolbox stock checks ·
- Compilation of receiving report
Your Profile
- Full Grade 12 Certificate with a minimum 5 “O” Level passes.
- Diploma in Business Administration or Equivalent.
- Experience in working in mining environment is an added advantage.
- Experience in any computerized maintenance package system is an added advantage.
- Excellent knowledge of word processing tools and spreadsheets (MS Office Word, Excel etc.)
- Working knowledge of office equipment and computer hardware and peripheral devices.
- Basic understanding of databases.
- Good command of English both oral and written and customer service skills
- Results oriented.
- Great attention to detail.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
