To drill copper anode moulds and copper anode samples under the general guidance of the section Supervisor.

Key Responsibilities
This position will be required to adhere to all relevant requirements, policies, procedures and legal regulations pertaining to health, safety, environment and quality, as well as finance, human resources, and any other regulations as required by the company and relevant to the level of the role and responsibilities of the function.
The holder of the position will be required to drill copper anode moulds and anodes for sampling. The tasks will include but not limited to :
• Maintaining in good working order the drilling machines (radial arm machine and portable machines)
• Maintain in good order all the drilling tools and equipment
• Drilling of Anode Copper Moulds
• Drilling of Anodes to get the shaving samples for the Laboratory

Qualifications
• Minimum of a Grade 12 school certificate
• Craft certificate or equivalent in the trade of Mechanical Machinist
• EIZ Certification

Experience
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in the machining of mechanical spares
• Knowledge of procedures for routine inspection of machinery
• Knowledge of the safety requirements when working with radial drilling machines
