Job Requirements/Responsibilities:
- Responsible for all clinical aspects of the OPTIMAH Study clinical assessments, management of illnesses (including malaria and HIV-related conditions), and ensuring participant safety throughout the study period
- Participate in patient pharmacokinetic (PK) evaluations
- Ensure coverage and assist in daily operations in the clinic during working hours (8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.)
- Participate in regular team meetings, and training sessions.
- Support participant retention strategies through community engagement activities
- Document deviations, adverse events, and corrective actions
Qualifications:
- BACHELORS : MBCHB – Mandatory
Certifications:
- GCP – Added Advantage
Skill & Experience:
- Strong competency in pediatric clinical assessment and management – Mandatory
- Understanding of clinical research principles and protocol adherence – Added Advantage
- Experience with clinical documentation and case report forms (CRFs) – Added Advantage
- Knowledge of informed consent/assent processes in pediatric research – Added Advantage
- Strong communication skills with children and caregivers – Mandatory
