Key Responsibilities:

  1. Membership Development:
  • Assist in developing and implementing membership development programs and strategies to increase ZAM’s membership in the respective regions.
  • Support the establishment and maintenance of an accurate database of the manufacturing base, including company size, turnover, employee count, and other relevant information.
  • Analyze membership data to identify trends, track performance indicators, and prepare regular reports for the Chief Executive Officer.
  • Engage with current and prospective members through effective communication channels, surveys, and visitations to understand their needs and improve services.
  • Assist in recruitment campaigns and initiatives to attract new members to ZAM.
  1. Business Development:
  • Identify and engage with potential donors, funders, and partners to support membership development initiatives.
  • Implement retention strategies, including member orientation programs, regular visitations, and addressing inquiries from members and potential members.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of membership growth strategies, recommend improvements, and measure progress towards membership goals.
  1. Reporting and Support:
  • Assist in managing the departmental budget, propose member fees, and ensure timely financial planning and reporting.
  • Prepare monthly/quarterly departmental reports to provide valuable information for decision-making.
  • Support the supervision of the Membership department, ensuring the efficient allocation of resources and the achievement of organizational objectives.

Person Specification:

  • Full Grade Twelve Certificate.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze data and identify trends.
  • Ability to engage and build relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in using databases and computer applications.
  • Valid driver’s license (preferred but not required).
