Watoto Church and Child Care Ministries have experienced exponential growth in the past couple of years composed of multiple Celebration Centers (Campuses) and diverse Community care initiatives that include Childcare, Community and Neighborhood, Education and FM Radio amongst others. In all of this, Watoto remains a local church, committed to celebrating Christ and caring for community.
Watoto is seeking to recruit a Mentorship Program Manager to be responsible for the implementation and operational excellence of MISCIO’s Mentorship Program.
Key Duties and Responsibilities (but not limited to).
Lead the full lifecycle of the Miscio Mentorship Program, from planning to daily operations.
Create, facilitate, and refine systems for mentor-mentee matching to ensure optimal compatibility and engagement.
Monitor program health through strategic regular evaluations, feedback loops, and timely reporting.
Accountable for the overall success and growth of the Mentorship Program.
Recruit and vet volunteer mentors, to ensure alignment with program values and goals.
Design and deliver onboarding, training, and commission of qualified mentors.
Maintain active and transparent communication with current mentors, mentees, and mentors-in-training.
Foster a mentor culture through regular mentor fellowship engagements.
Responsible for mentor-mentee retention metrics.
Develop and manage a vibrant mentorship community, encourage in collaboration, storytelling, and peer learning.
Play a key role in identification of potential opportunities to enhance program offerings and scalability.
Deliver and formulate monthly reports outline key performance metrics, challenges, and
Qualifications, Skills, and Experience.
The applicant for the role should hold at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Education, Social Work, Psychology, Program Management, Business, or any other relevant field.
At least a minimum of two years’ working experience with administrative support, preferably with churches, NGOs, or Educational programs.
Possess excellent organisational and time management skills.
Good effective communication, interpersonal skills, provide courteous, responsive customer service.
