Nestlé Ghana Limited is currently looking for a Microbiologist to ensure quality and food safety of all nestle products for customer confidence and satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Carries out pathogen monitoring of environment during processing and for line releases.
- Supervises and checks that all microbiological analysis on raw materials, semi-finished, finished products and all line controls are carried out within the stipulated time.
- Ensures analysis on water used in the plant to check the effectiveness of chlorine dosing and to prevent cross-contamination.
- Conducts investigation into cases of microbial deviations and comes up with action plans for correction.
- Carries out pathogen monitoring of environment during processing and for line releases.
- Manages microbiology results of raw materials, line and finished products and uses them to advice management.
- Trains and develops analysts on microbiological techniques and rapid methods.
- Carries out verification of cleaning of processing plant to ensure the efficiency of cleaning by sampling before and after cleaning.

- Quality Control in Food or Familiarity with food safety standards .
- Laboratory Experience: Hands-on experience with microbiological testing methods and lab equipment is essential for accurate and reliable testing.

- Minimum Educational qualification:
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Microbiology, Food science, Biochemistry or related discipline.
Minimum Relevant work experience:

Minimum of 3 years’ experience in food processing environment
